Position Paper

In October 2019 at the Lisbon Annual Quality Congress of the European Organization for Quality (EOQ), the International Academy for Quality (IAQ) held a meeting at which time it commissioned Academician N. (Ram) Ramanathan to draft an updated version to the 2001 Quality Manifesto that published at the 2001 Harrogate EOQ Conference. Acn. Ramanathan engaged IAQ Honorary Member Gregory H. Watson as a co-author and subsequently many Academicians became engaged as reviewers. The final document was presented to the IAQ Board of Trustees for approval in February 2021. The resulting Position Paper “Revitalizing Quality – The Quality Manifesto” was formally approved by the Board for Dissemination.
